Springfield College Giving Day 2026 will be held on Wednesday, March 4. Hear from current student Sebastian Ortega Guitierrez, who explains why he has donated on Giving Day, while current student Jessica Palladino shares how being the recipient of Giving Day-related funds has helped her.
Heather Dloughy arrived at Springfield College in 2021 as the first one in her family to go to college. Uncertain about what to expect and how to navigate this new experience, Heather was grateful to learn about and become a part of the College’s First Generation Student Mentoring Program.
Just a year into her education at Springfield College, Nozhan “Nelly” Hashemi realized she could help others adjust to their new environment and experiences right where they lived. During her first year when she became aware of what a resident assistant (RA) does and how that person was a resource for her, Nelly decided that she wanted that same opportunity to help others.
28 years later and Jay Andronaco (‘91) is still grateful for his time at Springfield College. Now serving as the Senior Director of Annual Giving, Jay describes why it’s so important for alumni and supporters to reach out during Springfield College’s annual Giving Day (March 6-7, 2019).
