Fun fact about yourself: I once had a pet alligator. 

Why peer education? Student Advocates for Wellness gives me the chance to help other students and teach them really important skills in situations that sometimes aren't talked about.

Major: Occupational Therapy

Year: Sophomore

Fun fact about yourself: I love traveling! I've traveled to many countries including Germany, Spain, the Dominican Republic, Martinique, Canada, and Israel!

Why peer education? I'm majoring in OT and health and wellness is something I strongly believe in. I chose Student Advocates for Wellness so I can pass my beliefs on to others around me, and teach others how to maintain good health.

Why peer education? I am in Student Advocates for Wellness because I want to better the lives of my peers by educating them on ways to live their lives in healthier ways.

Why peer education? I chose Student Advocates for Wellness because it was a really awesome teaching opportunity that I could apply in my future career. Throughout my journey in Student Advocates for Wellness I have learned so much-- not just how to help my peers, but myself as well.

Why peer education? My goal in joining Student Advocates for Wellness is to actively engage peers in discussing topics that aren't always so freely discussed. I want to provide a source of information for my peers so they are properly educated, to better our campus community overall.

Why peer education? I care about educating people on safe ways to drink because of family history. Overall wellness is fascinating to me because I live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Why peer education? I love Student Advocates for Wellness because we get to connect with students on a peer to peer level about topics I love to teach. 

Kerri also serves as the Region 1 (New England) student representative to the BACCHUS Initiatives of NASPA.

Why peer education? I love being able to be a helpful, knowledgeable peer on campus. I think Student Advocates for Wellness is a fun, interactive way of informing students about tips and facts to live a healthy lifestyle on campus and beyond.

Why peer education? I love public speaking and enjoy watching how we can impact the choices the students make. I am passionate about being a member and leader in Student Advocates for Wellness.

Why peer education? I chose to be a part of Student Advocates for Wellness because it is a great program that helps educate students on our campus about topics such as sex, alcohol, and drugs and how these things affect our bodies. I love making a difference in the lives of students and seeing them make better decisions here at Springfield College.
