Educational Leadership Program Outcomes

Goal 1 :  Understand issues of inequity, Social Justice, and Inclusion across US educational systems

  • SLO 1 : Describe the historical foundations of inequity in educational structures
  • SLO 2 : Explain the systematic impact of educational inequity on society at large
  • SLO 3 : Critically and systematically examine questions and problems of practice to generate equitable solutions
     

Goal 2 : Develop leadership skills to promote equity in education

  • SLO 4 : Identify one’s strengths and challenges as a leader and seek opportunities to develop skills to foster equity in education.
  • SLO 5 : Apply leadership theory and models.
  • SLO 6 : Engage in consciousness raising and lead by example in the critical analysis of state and federal laws and policy to dismantle inequities across educational systems.
     

Goal 3 : Use various methods to examine and research educational issues and problems

  • SLO 7 : Apply concepts, strategies, and techniques to conduct rigorous ethical research using multiple methodological processes.
  • SLO 8 : Present relevant information in a clear, organized manner and convey essential information to appropriate audiences.
