You want a career in finance—and we can help get you there with the Springfield College Finance major.
During the course of study, you will develop business acumen in financial analysis and reporting. You’ll learn by doing in computer labs in order to understand current industry practices and real-world applications. Most of our students participate in an internship which provides the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience in the field. Many students also participate in the annual stock market challenge, where they have the opportunity to invest and manage a $1,000,000 portfolio.
With a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Springfield College, you can begin your career in a variety of analytical positions in the financial services industry, including banking, investments, and insurance.
MBA 4+1: Earn both your BS and MBA in just five years!
Students who are accepted into the Finance major will receive direct entry into our Master of Business Administration (MBA).
That means if you maintain good academic standing with a preferred 3.0 GPA at matriculation, you’re automatically admitted to our MBA program — no extra application, no waiting, and no uncertainty.
This seamless pathway lets you complete your MBA in just one additional year, saving you time and money while gaining the advanced business knowledge that employers value most.
