Thank you for choosing Springfield College!

Once you have submitted your enrollment deposit, the Springfield College International Center will guide you through the next steps after acceptance, visa application and preparation for your arrival at Springfield College. Other offices at Springfield College will also be connecting with you about registration, housing, new student orientation and more. Please make sure to regularly check your Springfield College email for updates.

Within six months before your intended start (starting in March for Fall semester or July for Spring semester), you will be contacted by the Springfield College International Center for guidance on how to apply for your U.S. Student Visa. Carefully review the steps you need to take under Immigration and Visa Process. To ensure your timely arrival, please allow at least 60 days before the start of your program to complete the immigration requirements to obtain your F-1. student visa. Please be aware that students will not be permitted to arrive at Springfield College after than the first day of classes.

Submit the completed international student certification of finances form to the International Center at internationalcenter@springfield.edu .  All documents must be official and in the English language.

Once the International Center has approved your Certification of Finances documents, your I-20 form will be emailed to you at your Springfield College email address. You may then proceed to apply for your US student visa.

As part of your next steps, please review the International Student Pre-arrival Guide
