In the spring 2026 semester, 16 members of the Springfield College staff embarked on a transformative wellness journey designed specifically for women navigating perimenopause and postmenopause. This powerful, science-backed program, called Muscle & Menopause, empowers participants to feel stronger, more confident, and in control of their health during a pivotal stage of life.
Juniors Elle Gaucher and Carter White knew little about something called Pre-Camp at Springfield College when they arrived their first year. Having signed up to participate in the student-run program to help first-year students get a head start on their college experience, the two were a little nervous about the unknown.
At just 4 years old, Mary-Elizabeth Hrycay began taking horse riding lessons. Such lessons continued over the years and eventually led her to compete in horse shows. Mary-Elizabeth took her passion for horse riding all the way to Springfield College, where she competes for the Equestrian Club.
Kellie Murphy is an advocate for the arts in her role as director of the Springfield College William Blizard Gallery. In the gallery, visual arts are front and center, and provide a creative and safe space for our students and the public to share their works.
Logan Briggs was looking to join a club on campus when he was a first-year student at Springfield College. A chance meeting with a Pre-Camp leader introduced him to a club that he would have never envisioned joining: podcasting. Fast forward and Logan has been sharing stories through his own podcast on the College’s radio station.
