Division of Campus Life and Inclusion
The Division of Campus Life and Inclusion at Springfield College fosters an open, inclusive and diverse environment where students grow as leaders while exploring, understanding, and internalizing the Humanics philosophy. Our mission is to cultivate a community where students thrive through a co-curricular experience that centers belonging, meaning, and purpose.
Our committed staff of educators accomplishes our mission by working in conjunction with students, families, faculty, and staff, through dynamic, intentional, and interactive co-curricular programs and services. Our work is guided by these divisional values:
- Adaptability: We anticipate and are responsive to the needs of the campus and the greater community as we advance our work in an ever-changing world. We strive for excellence through continual evaluation of our work, while also engaging in opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Authenticity: We are guided by empathy, compassion, and a shared sense of humanity as we embody the institutional mission and empower our students to do the same.
- Community: We prioritize belonging, equity, collaboration, student-centeredness, health, safety, and well-being. We recognize that the strength of our community lies in its diversity and the relationships that bind its members together.
- Integrity: We operate with the highest ethical standards and demonstrate trustworthiness in our work. We take responsibility and ownership for our actions, follow through on our commitments, and function as good stewards of college resources.
