Brooke Hallowell, PhD, CCC-SLP, dean of the School of Health Sciences, was appointed as a founding representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) World Rehabilitation Alliance, and as a member of the WHO’s Emergency Response and Workforce workstreams in July 2023.
Christine T. Johnston, MPH, director of Health Promotion, was elected in October 2023 to a two-year term as a member-at-large of the New England College Health Association board of directors.
Michelle E. Moosbrugger, PhD, professor of Physical Education and Health Education and department chair, was appointed newsletter editor for the Massachusetts Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance executive board (September 2023-August 2024).
Andrew B. Perry, PhD, professor of mathematics and computer science, was appointed to a second three-year term as associate editor of Convergence, an online publication of the Mathematical Association of America, starting in January 2024.
Brett A. Winston, PhD, Associate Professor and Coordinator of Clinical Education in the Athletic Training Program, was appointed as the District One Secretary-Elect for the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. The two-year term as secretary begins in June 2024.
