Degrees Offered at Springfield College

"My favorite part is seeing the execution of an event come to life. Allthough a small piece of the puzzle, your role is a part of the larger picture that contributes to a successful event. Along with the fans that come out, I enjoy every minute of event days." Alex Smith'21, Sports Management

“Springfield College has become a second home to me, as I have met so many great professors and students throughout the entire school. The reputation that this school has within the profession is unlike any other. If you are looking for an AT program that provides a smaller class size and constant hands-on work, this is the program for you!” Matt Fiorentino, Athletic Training, Graduate Class of 2025

“The opportunities afforded to me while studying in the Springfield College Physical Education program have been nothing short of amazing. Since my first year, there has not been a semester where I have yet to have the opportunity to engage in authentic teaching experiences.” Emma Gagne, Physical Education, Class of 2024

"My time at Springfield College will greatly impact my future. I’ve learned a lot so far as a sophomore on how to create relationships with professors and former alumni who have been where I am now. Events such as the Hoophall Classic and when the volleyball team hosted the New England Women’s and Men's Athletic Conference tournament provided great opportunities to gain experience covering live sports." Liam Reilly, Communications/Sports Journalism, Class of 2026

“Looking into this program, what stood out to me was the dedication of the faculty. The thought, input, and purpose that the professors put into their courses are what make this stand out from the rest. The program allows you to learn ways of teaching, mentoring, and helping others, and gives you the opportunity to become more well-rounded as a person to pursue other minors and interests you want to learn while in college.” Hayden Brown, Movement and Sports Studies, Class of 2025

Experiential Learning

Our students jump into their programs and start experiential learning as early as year one. Many majors blend traditional coursework with applied internships, service-learning programs, research opportunities, or fieldwork. Plus, our “early and often” philosophy about hands-on learning will put experience on your resume before you even graduate. What’s even better is that many of these internships turn into full-time positions for our students upon graduation.
