Another wonderful evening of sharing Springfield College connections! A sincere and heartfelt thank you to the 100+ alumni and students who attended the on campus "Evening of Alumni & Student Career Networking" on February 27.

Students had an opportunity to grow their professional network by meeting and talking with SC alumni from a variety of career fields. Alumni had a chance to connect and reconnect with each other. The power of the Springfield College network is alive and well!

Join alumni hosts Brian Fucile '82 and Matt Hogan '82 in welcoming all Springfield College Men's Lacrosse alumni back to campus on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Hosted at the new Bugbee Family Pavilion at Stagg Field, be sure to return to Alden Street to relive some of your favorite memories. The Springfield College Pride will take on Coast Guard starting at 1 p.m. The day also marks one of the last home games for longtime head coach Keith Bugbee, G'84. Bugbee will retire at the end of the season after a 42 year career at Springfield College. This event is free to attend but registration is required. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available. Register here. We hope to see you on April 12!

The Springfield College Office of Alumni Relations welcomed several of our international students for a special spring break lunch, filled with fellowship and inspiring conversations. Thank you to student trustee Kushal Bhandari '25, who suggested the idea of gathering international students over break. Alumni Council representative and longtime faculty member Charlie Redmond '68, G'71, served as our host.

Thank you so much to our student attendees who shared their stories as well as their future goals and dreams: Kushal Bhandari '25, Li Chang, G'25, Suman Dangal '28, Meraj Husen '26, Yuka Iida '27, Samana Karki '26, and Riya Singh '27. Special thanks also to Addis Bekele of the Springfield College International Center for joining.

Congratulations to Kelly Curtis '12, who won the United States National Skeleton Championship earlier this month in Lake Placid!

Curtis represented the United States at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, marking the second time that a former Springfield College women's track and field student-athlete competed in the Olympics. Erin Pac Blumert '03 won the bronze medal in the two-woman bobsled for the United States in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.

During her time as a student-athlete on Alden Street, Curtis had a decorated career.  She was a three-time NCAA All-America honoree, won the Penn Relays in the heptathlon in 2011, and was a two-time NEWMAC Field Athlete of the Year selection.  She graduated with a degree in Sport Management.

Happy 90th birthday to longtime Springfield College faculty member and coach, Diane Potter '57, G'63! Coach Potter's birthday wish was to play 18 holes of golf, which she did with several former Springfield College student athletes.

Also joining the celebration were friends from Holland. Pictured with Diane on the golf cart is Els Spee, who went on to play softball for the Dutch National Team. Potter traveled to Holland many times to conduct softball clinics.

For their most recent "friends" trip, Mary Warman Edgerton '66, Lynn Kattler Warman '63, and Mary Belfanti Blazek '63 hiked at the Valley of Fire in Nevada.

World-renowned for its 40,000 acres of bright red Aztec sandstone outcrops nestled in gray and tan limestone, Valley of Fire State Park contains ancient, petrified trees and petroglyphs dating back more than 2,000 years.
