Meg Foley Dombroski '06 and Aaron Dombroski '05 hosted a gathering at their home with special guest President Mary-Beth A. Cooper, PhD, DM.
Attendees included alumni starting with the class of 1957, and ranging up to prospective students that will represent the class of 2031! Alumni and friends joined together for a night of great conversation and sharing the SC spirit! View Photo Gallery.

This past spring semester, Jennifer White McLoughlin '90 and Kevin McLoughlin '90 served as a host family for recent Doctor of Physical Therapy graduates Maddy Coon '23, DPT '25, and Veronica Fulgieri '23, G'25.
A special thank you to the McLoughlins for sending in this wonderful photo from the 2025 Graduate Commencement Ceremony, and for opening their home to Springfield College students.
"Maddy and Veronica are now a forever part of our lives and family," says Jen.

It's always a wonderful day when alumni return to the campus! Stopping by the Alumni House recently were Linda Waters DeJesus '91 and Darnell Ivory, G'75.
Congratulations to Linda's daughter, who will be a part of SC's Class of 2029. Darnell, friends, and family enjoyed a tour of campus while on a road trip from North Carolina to Eastern Massachusetts. Excited to return to Alden Street, this was Darnell's first visit to campus since she received her M.Ed. in 1975.
Springfield College was well represented at the recent Tribe Volleyball Showcase in Florida. Led by current Springfield College Women's Volleyball Head Coach Moira Breen Long, G'97, the legacy of volleyball excellence at Springfield College was on display.
At left, Brendan McGourn '18 (Head Coach Northeastern University), Camryn Bancroft '21, G'23 (Assistant Coach Ithaca College), Moira Breen Long, G'97, (Head Coach Springfield College), Taylor Roberts Virtue, G'17, (Head Coach Brown University), and Alesia Vaccari Bennett '06 (Head Coach Brandeis University) all showcased their Springfield College pride!
Canterbury School in New Milford, Ct., is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Morris '89 as its next Director of Athletics and Co-Curriculars. Rob brings more than three decades of leadership experience in independent schools, including a distinguished 31-year tenure at Phillips Exeter Academy and, most recently, his role as Director of Athletics and Afternoon Programs at Hebron Academy in Maine.
Rob holds a B.S. in Health Education from Springfield College and began his career teaching and coaching at Melrose High School. A graduate of Tilton School’s postgraduate program, he understands firsthand the power of a boarding school experience.
Rob has been recognized for excellence in both teaching and service. He is a recipient of the Brown Family Teaching Award and the Rupert Radford Faculty Fellowship Award at Phillips Exeter Academy, as well as the Outstanding Professional Award from the New Hampshire Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance.
The following is a copy of a Springfield College Certificate of Appreciation, which was retrieved during a recent deep dive into the archives of Brisbane Basketball in Queensland, Australia, which features Ivor Charles Burge '28, a graduate of Springfield College.
The Certificate of Appreciation recognizes and commends Burge for outstanding service and contributions to successive generations of young people.
A special thank you to Terry Doherty, a former student of physical education under Burge at the University of Queensland. Doherty, now 81 years old, followed Burge into basketball which, together with his family and career as a teacher of physical education, was a huge influence in Burge's life.
Burge is the founder basketball in Queensland. He is both a Life Member of Basketball Queensland and an inductee to the Queensland Basketball Hall of Fame. The first Intervarsity Basketball Championship in Australia was held in Sydney in 1947. The University of Queensland participated in this championship and Burge was coach of the team.
Clint Jennifer '76 shared his video from the Venice Beach Oral History project.
Clint was proud to wear his Springfield College cap during the interview. Clint's father was Harold Jennifer '43, G'48, (Tarbell Medallion recipient) and his daughter, Joy Jennifer McCorkle '11, is a proud alumna.
