Springfield College graduates from the Class of 2012 spent a week together during their annual family vacation in Lake George, NY.

The 1980's were well represented on a recent trip to Alaska.

The Springfield College Division of Institutional Advancement and Office of Alumni and Family Relations hosted a gathering at Tanglewood this past summer as part of a full schedule of summer events.
Springfield College President Mary-Beth Cooper and Dave Cooper were joined by alumni, families, and friends on a beautiful night on the lawn. Attendees enjoyed the Boston Symphony Orchestra presenting Maestro of the Movies: A tribute to John Williams.

Gabriela Christ Zirna '16; Jonathan Zirna '16, G'17; Lindsey Stevenson Phinney '16; Sarah Laranjo Defazio '16; Rachel Scoble Johnston '16; and Trevor Johnston '16, recently enjoyed time with each other and their growing families.
Lauren Gardner '97 and Karyn Baglini Chylewski '97 recently returned to Alden Street for a visit. Neither had been back to Springfield College since their graduation.
Lauren currently lives in Germany working for the US Government abroad. Karyn lives and works in New Hampshire. During Lauren's summer visit home to visit family in Connecticut, they decided to meet "half-way" and walk down memory lane through the Springfield College campus.
"What a fun day we had and how wonderful the campus looks," shared Lauren.
The staff "Family of Learners" shirts are in honor of John and one of his favorite sayings - "Achieve Greatness."

Donnie Gallagher '75 and Karen Moodie Gallagher '75 hosted a "Gallagher Garden Party" featuring lots of fun, food, Springfield College memories and music!

Several of the group also attended an Amherst Survival Center benefit concert organized by Donnie Gallagher. This has become an annual event hosted at the Drake ("Heartbeat of Downtown Amherst").
Springfield College alumni are everywhere! Nate Harris '08, General Manager, Greater Richmond Convention Center recently ran into Steve Luttazi '89, Vice President of Sales, Spec Seats at the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) Venue Connect 2026 conference in Indianapolis.
Recently gathering in Beacon, NY for their annual "Townhouse 12" and friends get together were Brandon Chu '23; Sam Ware '23; Aidan Nau '23; Alec Noe '23; and Stefan Minyayluk '23. Also joining the festivities, but not pictured were Matlyn Gross '23; Jerod Gardner '23; and Ethan Nirenberg '23.
For the past 40 years, these old roommates have been spending a weekend in Saratoga Springs, NY for the races: Kevin Halburian '86, G'87; Leigh Gorman '84; John McNulty '87; and John Monsees '85.
Stopping by our office earlier this summer for a visit was Joe Manning '24. Joe is an Account Executive with the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League. We love visitors! Please feel free to stop by our office for a visit if you are in the area!

From intern to impact! Springfield College Assistant Professor of Sport Management and pround alumnus Mike Theulen, DPE'83, recently joined the Suffield (CT) Parks & Recreation Podcast to discuss the connection between Springfield College and Suffield Parks & Recreation.
Theulen was joined by current student Tracetta Caudle, class of 2027, a current intern with Suffield Parks & Rec, and Dan Leonard '21, recreation supervisor.
